Above the Crowd

You dig yourself out of the mountain hut where you crashed last night exhausted but exhilarated after an intense day on the high-altitude trails. As expected, equipment plays a very important role in the mountains; the extremes of weather and terrain are not to be taken lightly.

The ALP-X jacket has been specially developed for these tough, changeable conditions. As you power down into the valley, heavy black thunderclouds make their presence known with ice-cold bullets of rain. It’s cool, just unfold the new integrated hood that fi ts perfectly under your helmet and also leaves your vision clear with its enhanced cut.

Fast-forward half an hour – the rain’s stopped and you’re on the monster climb. Rip open the zip closure and let the ventilation strip help you conquer the never-ending section in the warm afternoon sunshine. At the top simply pack the ALP-X jacket neatly away ready for when you need it next time – which from experience will be sooner rather than later.
